PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A person is dead after getting hit by a train at the Oregon City train station on Christmas Eve, according to police.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 3 p.m. and found the pedestrian had been struck as an Amtrak pulled into the station. Officials declared them dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing. The identity of the person killed is not clear.
