A 42-year-old driver from Huger died in a single-vehicle crash on Cainhoy Road in Berkeley County, S.C., after running off the road, overcorrecting, and striking a tree.
Crash Details
The incident involved a 2006 GMC Sierra pickup traveling west around 10:15 p.m. on Monday. Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the driver veered off one side, corrected, then went off the opposite side before impact.
Victim Identification
Berkeley County Coroner identified the victim as Aubrey L. German, pronounced dead at the scene.
