A team of APS students earned both First Place and Third Place honors in the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District. The competition was hosted by Emilia Sykes and highlights student-created apps designed to solve real-world problems.
The students were led by computer science instructor Sam Appleby. Earning two top spots in the same district is a rare achievement and reflects both strong instruction and student innovation.
