CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A soldier’s holiday wish was granted this Christmas Eve. A new military non-profit — Miles for Military — is helping families reunite with their service members from around the globe. One soldier was able to make it home to his mom just in time for the holiday.
U.S. Army Private Second Class Joshua Tillman hasn’t seen his mom since July. He flew home to North Carolina on Christmas Eve, all the way from his base in Arizona.
“It feels great. It feels amazing being home for so long, being away from home, thousands of miles apart. It’s great to see my family again,” Tillman said…
