Members of the Haverstraw Police Department conducted a traffic stop within the Village of Haverstraw that led to the arrest of a South Carolina man found in possession of firearms.
Police said the vehicle’s operator, identified as Richard Campbell, 40, was discovered to be in possession of two loaded firearms and multiple loaded magazines following further investigation. Campbell was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Haverstraw Police Department for processing.
Campbell was arraigned today in the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court and subsequently remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail…
