KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Over the weekend, the University of Tennessee Medical Center celebrated the 5,000th baby born this year.
Executive Director of the Center for Women and Infants, Becki Morrison, said it’s a record-breaking number and a monumental event.
“It is an incredible amount of work. It takes an absolute village to deliver these 5,000 babies,” she said. “Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, our housekeeping partners, everybody.”…
