Jessamine County family calls for accountability after substitute allegedly ‘choked’ their child

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A family in Jessamine County is speaking out after learning that their middle schooler was physically mistreated by a substitute teacher.

Further, they believe that school administrators weren’t transparent about what happened.

According to Nicholasville police, officers were made aware of an “incident” involving a substitute teacher and a student that happened on Nov. 21 in a West Jessamine Middle School classroom. After an investigation, Dale Dragomir was charged with harassment with contact.
