Accused drug ‘kingpin’ seeks trial postponement

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An accused drug “kingpin” asking a federal judge to postpone his trial next month.

Prosecutors say Glennie McGee oversaw a multimillion-dollar drug distribution network and used children as couriers. The investigation came to light last year after a raid turned up a 3-year-old child with a backpack full of cocaine.

McGee is representing himself. He’s asking for an emergency postponement because of what he says was delayed service of subpoenas…
