A large commercial fishing boat ran ashore at a Ventura beach Dec. 23, with the crew still aboard.
The Ventura Harbor Patrol received multiple reports around 10:50 a.m. of the boat running aground just south of the Surfers Knoll Beach parking lot, according to a harbor patrol press release.
Officers arrived at the beach and found the 50-foot boat on the sand with three people still aboard, says the release. The California State Parks agency helped rescue the crew, with no injuries reported…
