The Savannah Downtown Business Association announced the winner of the inaugural Christmas on Broughton Street Storefront Decorating Contest, powered by Hearse Ghost Tours, on Friday, December 19. J. Parker Ltd was selected as the winning Broughton Street business and received a $1,000 prize from Hearse Ghost Tours in recognition of its outstanding holiday storefront display, which was designed by downtown employee Steven Schneider.
Christmas on Broughton was created to bring festive spirit, holiday cheer, and seasonal energy to the heart of downtown Savannah’s commercial corridor, Broughton Street. The competition highlighted the creativity of local businesses while encouraging residents and visitors to experience downtown Savannah as a premier Christmas destination.
Participating businesses in this year’s Christmas on Broughton competition included: Savannah Belle, Pounce Cat Cafe, Savannah Taste Experience, Bowls & Bubbles- designed by Kayla Ann Art, DressUp, Historic Kennedy Pharmacy at the Davenport House Museum- designed by The Makers Guild, River Street Sweets- designed by Savannah Design Be, Sea Love Candle Bar and Boutique, J Parker Ltd, Marmalade Savannah, Blue Mercury, Common Restaurant, and Fitness on Broughton- designed by Mac Schneider.
