ST. LOUIS – More than 200 dogs have been adopted from the CARE STL animal shelter in midtown St. Louis ahead of the Christmas holiday. CEO Kim Horak tells FOX 2 News that in the span of roughly 30 days; 209 dogs were adopted and another 67 found foster homes.
For the first time since the shelter was founded in 2018, they ran out of adoptable dogs on Christmas Eve.
