SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – At 5:08 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of West Sioux Street.
Arriving units found smoke coming from the home, and crews quickly extinguished the fire and searched the home for any occupants. Crews monitored the scene for several hours.

Nobody was injured in the fire. A dog and cat were rescued, but three cats died as a result of the fire.
