ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Todd Kersting invites everyone to enjoy a night of company and cheer at the Christmas Eve Balloon Glow in Northeast Albuquerque.
The event takes place at Arroyo del Oso Golf Course, where Kersting sets up dozens of hot air balloons. This tradition, which began in Albuquerque more than three decades ago, offers a unique way to celebrate the holidays before the big day.
“They just want to give back to the people that allow them to land in their yards, their neighborhoods,” said Kersting, the event organizer. “It’s just a way of them giving back and bringing joy to the people that come out during the holiday.”…
