LAKEMORE — Lakemore Village Council and administration congratulated outgoing Councilwoman Laura Cochran on her retirement at the Dec. 15 Village Council meeting. The gathering marked Cochran’s final meeting after 15 years in office.
“It’s been very hard [work] — thank you for sticking with us,” said Mayor Richard Cole, as Council members echoed those sentiments.
“You’ve been my council mom,” said Councilman Sam Ray. “And not just by holding our hands or imposing your will on others. You have a way of convincing others, and I appreciate you always having us put our best foot forward in Lakemore.”…
