EDGEFIELD, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Susan Rhodes, the woman who was responsible for a two-month-long, region-wide search after going missing in June following an alleged hit-and-run incident, has agreed to a plea deal.
Rhodes was sentenced to one year in prison after appearing in Edgefield County Court last Thursday, pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and damage to a vehicle only.
However, Rhodes agreed to a plea deal that leaves her to serve 18 months of probation, 50 hours of community service and mental health counseling if necessary, according to court documents, leaving her with no prison time. She also has a balance of $540.75…
