FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Our next weather system moves a couple hours after midnight on Friday morning. The ground temperatures along and north of US 6 in Dekalb, Noble, LaGrange and Steuben counties will be a couple degrees below freezing on Friday morning. So, light freezing rain is possible in these areas and icy spots are possible on the road on Friday morning. If you’re driving that way and into Southern Michigan, you need to drive carefully.
Friday afternoon, hit-and-miss rain will wrap up around 2-3pm, then it will be dry the rest of the day with high temperatures in the mid 50s in Fort Wayne and places south, with afternoon temperatures in the 40s places north of Allen County.
