Dense Fog Advisory in effect tonight; Strong cold front will bring a 40-degree drop next week

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Merry Christmas! It has been a warm Christmas day. In fact, Columbus has tied the Christmas record temperature of 78 degrees set back in 2015. Over the next several hours, these clouds will linger.

Friday: The clouds hanging around overnight, and the warm, humid temperatures, will cause some areas of dense fog Friday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is already in effect for Bullock, Barbour, and Macon counties. We will see more clouds cover tomorrow, and those spring highs will continue.

The Weekend: We will still see mid to upper 70s through the weekend. These pesky clouds will also hang around in our forecast…
