Bicyclist hit and killed by vehicle near Plainwell, Michigan State Police say

PLAINWELL, Mich. — A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday night just north of Plainwell, according to Michigan State Police (MSP).

It happened on 10th Street between North Pointe Drive and Miller Road, troopers said.

According to MSP, both the bicyclist — who did not have any lights or reflectors on — and the driver were going north on 10th Street when the crash happened.

Troopers do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor and told the News Channel 3 photographer on scene that authorities will be back Friday to continue to investigate the crash site…
