Van Nuys man pleads guilty to involvement in drug trafficking
A Van Nuys man pleaded guilty to a felony drug-related charge in Ventura County Superior Court on Dec. 17, stemming from his involvement in leading a drug trafficking operation.
Jose Trinidad Bueno Garcia, 50, is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 21 for felony conspiracy to possess fentanyl for sale and admitted to several special allegations, including that the crime involved a large quantity of contraband and the manner it was carried out was sophisticated, according to a Ventura County District Attorney’s Office news release.
