Adare Pharmaceuticals is closing its development and manufacturing facility in Philadelphia.
The pharmaceutical manufacturer filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, informing the state that it will be closing its entire operation at 1100 Orthodox St., and 137 people will be laid off.
“The closure of this facility is due to a consolidation of the Company’s manufacturing operations. The closure of the facility is permanent and will affect all employees,” the company said in the WARN notice…
