4 employees charged with stealing copper wire from demolition company in Raleigh, warrants show

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Four Wake County men are facing multiple felony charges in connection with the theft of copper communication wiring from a demolition company they all worked at, warrants show.

According to warrants filed by the Raleigh Police Department, 23-year-old Quavon Deandra Gilmore of Wendell, 19-year-old Willie Lee Jacobs III of Raleigh, 41-year-old Michael Wayne Moore of Zebulon, and 23-year-old Elijah Micah Walker of Wendell were employed by 4 Seasons Demolitions Services when they allegedly conspired together to steal the company’s copper wire during two incidents.

In the first incident on Aug. 29, according to the warrants, Gilmore, Jacobs, Moore, and Walker are accused of stealing 374 pounds of copper wire. Gilmore is also accused of stealing an additional 35 pounds…
