Housing purchase prices in and around Dane County continued to rise in 2025, reflecting continued strong demand for residential real estate.
The median home sale price in Dane County is up 1.9% since last year, from $443,500 to $452,000, according to data from the South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service for the first 11 months of the year. The overall number of new listings was also up, with this year seeing 3% more than last year.
