WASHINGTON — This Christmas, instead of staying home, Charlotte Mendelson decided to spread a little Christmas cheer.
She and her family headed to the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center in Northwest to make Christmas cards for the District’s first responders.
“This is a great way to give back to the community,” she said. “We’re here for them, and we don’t necessarily understand what they’re going through today, but we can try and help make it a little easier for them.”…
