TULSA, Okla. – Thanks toGreen Country Habitat for Humanity, Brittany Armijo is starting a new chapter and celebrating her first Christmas with her kids in a brand-new home.
Armijo is a first-grade dual-language teacher and a single mom raising four kids, ages 4, 6, 8, and 11. This summer, she balanced lesson plans, homework, and big life changes, all while searching for a place her family could truly settle into.
“Last year, I feel like I was definitely learning all the things because I was a first-year teacher,” Armijo said. “Home ownership was never a thought in my mind until I had heard about this, and heard that it could potentially be an option.”…
