CALDWELL, Idaho — As many families spent Christmas Day gathered indoors, dozens of others bundled up and headed to the Caldwell Ice Ribbon, trading fireplaces for fresh air and skating under holiday music.
Children weaved around adults on the winding rink, including three-year-old Jimmy Eastman, who declared the outing “the best part of my Christmas Day.”
