COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – For many families, Christmas Day means gathering around the table, but for others in Colorado Springs, the holiday can be lonely or financially difficult.
This Christmas, a free community meal was offered – along with a place to sit down and connect in a welcoming space.
“You know, Christmas is really a family time, and that’s what we love creating,” Salvation Army Corps Officer Nancy Ball said. “A place for people to go who may not have family, who live alone or want to bring their family because it’s just a chance for them to connect with the community.”…
