PACIFIC, Wash. — The Washington National Guard is maintaining round-the-clock monitoring of levees along the Green and Cedar rivers, as well as the White River in Pacific.
Their mission, along with partner private construction companies, is to reinforce the levees before any potential breaches and to mobilize rapid repairs if necessary. This effort continues even on Christmas Day to ensure the safety of local residents.
