REARDAN–The Pomeroy Pirates wrestling team, though limited due to illness and with freshmen and eighth graders competing, delivered strong performances at the annual Torin Zagorski Memorial Tournament, hosted by Reardan High School in honor of former wrestler Torin Zagorski. In a competitive field featuring teams from across eastern Washington, including Reardan, Lind-Ritzville, Mary Walker, and Colville, the Pirates secured key placements and valuable team points through dominant displays on the mat.
After the Christmas Break, wrestling returns with the Pirate Christmas Tournament Monday, December 29, first matches starting at 10 a.m.
