NJ’s Jaquere Johnson Charged In PA Counterfeit Cash Scheme

Jaquere T. Johnson, 20, of Mount Laurel, NJ, was charged after an investigation into counterfeit currency passed at a Pennsylvania business, according to Lower Southampton Township Police.

Police said the incident happened on Tuesday, Sept. 10, when officers responded to a report of non-genuine $50 bills used during a transaction at an Arby’s in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County. Investigators determined two customers paid with counterfeit notes while purchasing food.

The suspects were identified as Johnson and 20-year-old Tylear Leslie, also of Mount Laurel, NJ, police said. Arrest warrants were issued for both after the investigation…
