LODI —On Thursday, Lodi Family Center held its first ever free community Christmas meal.
The Lodi Family Center, 301 Mill St., was created to strengthen the community by connecting families with resources. Kelli Sanders, who helps with the center’s food pantry, said the idea to host a free Christmas meal has been floating around at the center for a while.
“We had a fellow that lost his wife,” she said. “He did not want somebody to be by themself for the holidays.”…
