More steps taken to help the homeless in Gaston County

Mt. Zion Restoration Church, the organization behind Bountiful Blessings Food Pantry, is currently building a community restoration center that will eventually offer laundry facilities, showers and more to community members in need.

In the meantime, Pastor Rodney Freeman is working with Gaston County, the city of Gastonia and Gaston Together to establish a temporary program that would allow people who live in their cars to park and sleep safely at the church.
