With Christmas in the rear-view mirror and the new year ahead, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council Executive Director Carter Hendricks says he feels 2026 is primed to be a big year for the region.
Speaking with WHOP recently, Hendricks discussed what he thinks could be on the table for Christian, Todd and Trigg counties next year. He says they’ve seen a flurry of information requests and tour wants in the last couple of months, and he has a feeling that will continue into the new year, as this region has a lot to offer to potential industries.
He says the last couple of years have been fairly calm, but he has high hopes that 2026 might just be explosive for the area in the way of announcements—and they’re doing all they can to make that happen…
