There is legislation surrounding e-bikes following numerous accidents, injuries, and even fatalities. The demand is so high that it tends to happen often.
Florida House considers licensing for e-bikes
Tampa E-Bike had a line of them ready for pick up. 8 On Your Side asked the shop owners if E-bikes are a popular gift this year.
