Authorities across Southern California are searching for a wanted felon accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of medical equipment by posing as a hospital employee.Investigators are looking for 47-year-old Jason Suniga Brauner of San Jacinto, who authorities say targeted multiple hospitals while disguised as staff. Officials say Brauner gained access to restricted areas and stole surgical equipment valued at more than $100,000.Brauner failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing on December 19, prompting a judge to revoke his $100,000 bond and issue a bench warrant for his arrest.According to investigators, Brauner posed as hospital personnel by wearing blue scrubs and a surgical mask to blend in with staff.
