Nonprofit hosts Christmas event for low-income, homeless seniors

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Serving Seniors opened its doors to low-income and homeless older adults on Thursday, providing a Christmas day meal and community event.

The local nonprofit provides county-wide services such as meals, housing, health and social services and learning opportunities for senior adults aged 60 and up. This Christmas, they offered a holiday meal and festivities.
