Christmas night shooting leaves 2 injured

SAVANNAH, Ga (WSAV) — Christmas night, the Savannah Police Department (SPD) posted to social media that they responded to an aggravated assault near Burroughs Street and 48th Street.

At around 9:00 p.m. SPD responded to reports of two injured adult males at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and 46th Street.   It was later determined the victims, while driving, had struck a parked vehicle near the scene, were shot at and fled.

While fleeing they struck an additional unoccupied vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.  Both victims were treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center…
