Baton Rouge high school bond sale nets $42 million. Projects are on tap in the new year.

Flush with the proceeds of a recent multimillion-dollar bond sale, several Baton Rouge public high schools are in line for repairs, renovations and additions early in the new year.

A second, more expensive slate of projects — primarily related to high school athletics — will come later in the year, as local school leaders plan to bundle them together in hopes of securing better prices.
