CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill. — Police are investigating a shooting at a Metro East nightclub early Friday morning.
At least one person may have been shot inside The VIP Club on the 4700 block of Bond Avenue in Cahokia Heights. The extent of injuries and whether a suspect or suspects are in custody is not yet clear.
The nightclub is located just a few blocks from the Cahokia Heights Police Department. A witness who was inside the club during the incident said she saw a woman who had been shot taken out on a stretcher and believes more than one person was injured…
