EUGENE, Ore. — Shoppers in Lane County were out in full force Thursday, racing to complete their holiday shopping at the Valley River Center (VRC).
Despite the allure of holiday deals, many shoppers said it was the festive energy, described as “Christmas cheer,” that drew them to the mall at the last minute.
