Puppy stuffed in coat, stolen from pet shop near Ypsilanti; reward offered for its return

YPSILANTI TWP., MI — A Ypsilanti Township pet shop is seeking help from the public in finding a puppy the owner says was stolen a few days before Christmas.

Pet City Pets is offering a $100 reward for information that leads to the return of a female black and tan Yorkshire Terrier puppy.

“I’m pretty sure (the suspects) are local because they have a little kid in a stroller with them,” Pet City Pets Owner Stu Collins said. “We were a bit short-handed and took our eyes off the dogs for a minute. This shouldn’t have happened, but you know how things go sometimes.”…
