It was a thrill for the Myrthil family last March when they finally found supported housing in a new city, Quincy, after a seven-month search for a place to live.
Before that, the family had become homeless, in part due to the father’s military service-related medical problems and loss of work; they had been living temporarily with relatives in Boston.
