CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A 28-year-old man who has been on dialysis for five years will receive a kidney transplant from his mother in January after multiple medical setbacks delayed the life-saving surgery.
Mitchell Hunter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at seven years old and has spent the last five years on dialysis after developing Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis, a rare autoimmune disease.
