ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Temperatures will hover near record levels over the next few days before a cold front arrives on Monday.
Tonight will stay unseasonably mild across North Georgia with lows mainly in the 50s. A weak front passing just to our north could squeeze out some patchy drizzle or a brief light shower across the far northern mountains; no meaningful accumulation is expected. Cloud cover will hang around, and there could be some patchy fog by Saturday morning.
Saturday looks much the same — warm and mostly cloudy with some sun peaks definitely possible. Highs should climb into the mid-70s and could approach 80 for some.
Sunday continues the warm trend with highs again in the 60s to 70s across most of North Georgia. Near-surface east to northeast winds may keep the far northeastern counties a bit cooler (more likely in the 60s), but overall the area will remain mild ahead of our next system…
