The Community Blood Bank (CBB) offered gift cards in exchange for blood on Friday.
Becky the Blood Drop and her entourage were at the Millcreek Mall, handing out candy canes and smiles and encouraging shoppers to make a life-saving donation.

“We’re going around the mall, we’ve got our mascot Becky here, and we’re doing $10 gift cards, so if you get a chance to stop on by today, we’d love to see you,” said Kelsey Steen, the Erie Blood Drive coordinator. “Any blood type is welcomed.
