GREENSBORO, N.C. — While many families across the Triad spent Christmas morning at home, first responders were clocking in.
At Greensboro Fire Station 7, the holiday began early. Firefighters arrived before their 8 a.m. shift, started morning cleaning duties, cooked breakfast together, and even turned dish duty into a card game, a small tradition that brings a sense of normalcy to a day spent on duty.
