Expect a warm Saturday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A nearly 25-degree temperature difference from Christmas Day to Boxing Day with temperatures hovering in the low 50s the majority of the afternoon. Heading into this evening, the clouds continue to stick around and temperatures will remain in the low 50s through late Friday night.

A cold front is draped across parts of the southeast and through the weekend, it’ll gradually move back and forth, bringing a rollercoaster of temperatures in the Piedmont Triad.

We’ll gradually see some partial clearing late tonight into Saturday morning with many waking up to a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures start off in the mid-to-upper 40s. Saturday will be our warmest day for the next week and will likely be our last 70-degree day of 2025. Afternoon highs reach the low 70s with mostly sunny skies…
