Richmond barricade ends in peaceful surrender after morning altercation

RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — A reported altercation in Richmond led to a barricade situation and a peaceful surrender Friday morning, leaving one man in custody.

Officers were called to Clark Drive around 9 a.m. Dec. 26 for a “reported physical altercation.”

According to the Richmond Police Department, a male suspect fled into a home and barricaded himself inside when officers arrived.
