Melissa Cochrane, 30, of Yonkers, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. Dec. 24, in connection with the alleged attack at the county’s DSS Yonkers district office, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday, Dec. 26.
According to prosecutors, the incident happened on Wednesday while DSS caseworkers were attempting to comply with a court order.
