Police officers fired shots at a man who shot at a woman and her dog in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood on Friday, authorities said.
No persons were hit by the gunfire, according to a news release from the Allegheny County Police Department, which said that officers with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police were called to the 4700 block of Centre Avenue for a reported assault around 4:15 p.m.
When Pittsburgh police officers arrived at the scene, they found a man threatening a woman and her dog with a gun outside an apartment building.
