The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the Virginia Tech Montgomery Regional Airport Authority, based in Blacksburg, Virginia, a $484,863 grant. The funding supports the construction of three new 3,600 square foot hangars at the Virginia Tech Montgomery Executive Airport. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
“Federal dollars continue to support the construction of new storage space for airports in Virginia’s Ninth District.
“This DOT grant for more than $484,000 helps the Virginia Tech Montgomery Regional Airport Authority deliver improved storage space to the Virginia Tech Montgomery Executive Airport.”…
